![]() I did love in Sonar the ability to select my T.Le's programs by name, eliminating this number game. I've been making due with this for now, though maybe I'm missing something obvious. ![]() ![]() So B038: Garage PWM on my Triton corresponds to Bank:x/Sub-Bank:2/Program:39 in Ableton, if that makes any sense. Why I say roughly: The Ableton Bank selection is irrelevant, the Ableton Sub-Bank selection (1,2,3,4.) corresponds to the Triton Bank (A,B,C,D.), and the Ableton Program selection (1,2,3,4.) corresponds to the Triton Program PLUS 1 (000, 001, 002, 003.). After doing so, the Bank/Sub-Bank/Program selections in Ableton roughly correspond to the programs on my Triton Le and make selecting a program thru Ableton a LITTLE more logical if you know the Triton's program number, such as "B038". On my Korg Triton Le I had to set the "GLOBAL->Pref->BANKMAP" to "KORG". I setup a default External Instrument device for my T.Le so I can always just drag and drop it to a midi track when needed and have the midi out/audio in/gain all pre configured. So maybe I can help, or maybe I can learn something here as well I'm pretty new to Ableton (first post!), though have a Triton Le and previously used Sonar as well. ![]()
